After School Care Program
Join our ASC Program! The Hialeah Gardens Elementary After School Care (ASC) program offers child care services for students whose families and caregivers are working after school hours. A variety of academic enhancement and enrichment activities, including homework assistance, computer time, indoor and outdoor games, music, and arts and crafts have been planned during your child’s time in our program. Each day a nutritious snack will be provided for your child.
Our fee-based program operates from Monday through Friday from 1:50 PM-6:00PM. If for any reason we can be of assistance, please do not hesitate to call us at (305) 827-8830 between the hours of 1:00PM and 6:00PM. It is required for students in the After School Care program to purchase accident insurance. Click the button above for details.

How to Register Your Child in our Program:You can register your child by visiting our After School Care (ASC) office, in room 20, after 1:00PM daily or through our online FOCUS app which can be accessed via the M-DCPS Parent Portal. You must create a Parent Portal account in order to pay for student services at Dadeschools.net
Click on the flyers below for instructions on how to create a M-DCPS Parent Portal account and how to register and pay online using the “FOCUS “ software. Parents will also need to obtain the mandatory Health Special Risk (HSR) student accident insurance issued through the district. No child may participate in or attend the After School Care program and select community education classes without this insurance. This is a supplemental insurance plan and it is required even if you already have family or individual medical insurance coverage. This supplemental insurance plan does not take the place of family or individual medical insurance coverage. |
