Parent Portal
Important Documents
|
The parent portal allows parents to "link" their children to their parent account and gather information from their teacher in real-time. There is also a mobile app that allows you to gather information right from your phone. This is a great tool to have as it is used district wide. In order to log in to the parent portal, you must create an account and will need you parent pin. You must contact your school to receive this information as this is highly sensitive.

Helping your child at home |
Volunteer at HGE |
![]() Parents,
You are your child’s first teacher and reading with your child is a proven way to promote early literacy. Helping to make sure your child is reading on grade level by third grade is one of the most important things you can do to prepare him/her for the future. By reading with your child for 30 minutes per day and making a few simple strategies a part of your daily routine, you can make a positive impact on your child’s success in school. We are happy to provide you with this Read-at-Home Plan, which includes resources and strategies to help your child become a more proficient reader! To access the plan in Spanish, click here. |
